Prom Dresses and Other Formal Wear
We know Prom is a huge deal so we go all out to get the most dazzling gowns that will turn heads as you make your grand entrance on Prom Night. If all the other girl's wish they had your dress and all the guys wish you were their date, that would be all right, wouldn't it?
One of the unique things about Veronica Michaels is that we register our prom dresses. It is our goal to not sell the same dress in the same color to the same dance. We believe that each girl is beautiful and different, and her dress should match her personality.
Prom season starts in January and goes through May! We begin getting shipments in January, and this is the best time to buy. You get first pick, and have plenty of time for alterations. However, at Veronica Michaels, we are always getting new dresses in, so you won't get all of the "left-overs" if you start searching the week before your dance.
Some of the other dances in Utah schools that we sell to are: Sweethearts, Preference, Homecoming, Masquerade, and Senior Ball. The popular styles for Prom this year are: Mermaid, Princess, Ruching on the skirt, Cocktail (short/knee length), A-Symmetrical, Drop-Waist, A-line, and Metallic colors and fabrics. Whether your style is modest, strapless, or halter, poofy or straight, classic clean lines, or covered with beads, you'll find it here at Veronica Michaels.
Everything is going green, including Prom dresses! Green and purple will be very popular colors this year, as will golds and earthy colors. Bold prints, animal prints, and polka dots are making a come back as well. Many dresses will have a sash around the waist, making it very slimming on all sizes of girls.
And of course, at Veronica Michaels, we do alterations to make the dress fit comfortably or snuggly, as you like. You'll want to be able to move your arms, so that you can dance with your tall date, and you might need the dress hemmed so that you don't have to worry about stepping on it throughout the night.
